Curry Todd was born in Juno, Tennessee and has lived and served in Tennessee as a business owner, Memphis police officer, and state legislator. A standout as a prep and college athlete, Curry Todd‘s history of excellence extends forward onto his public and private contributions to his state. He was once voted High School athlete of the year for his prowess in the sport of basketball. It was an athletic career that gained him a retirement of his jersey and had him courted by various university basketball programs.
In the end, his heart never left his home state, and he chose the University of Memphis to continue his playing career. He was voted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame, a cause he continue support to this day. His career entered into the realm of public service as an officer of the law in the great city of Memphis. Curry Todd is a proud father and civic employee.
Accolades and appointments followed his exceptional service, eventually leading to assignments in police training, legislation, and a role as a liaison and lobbyist for law enforcement. That service was the foundation to his election to State Legislator in 1998. He has since served the 95th State Representative District with distinction before the Tennessee State House of Representatives.
Curry Todd has a number of significant bills that he has authored and co-authored throughout the years, and he has participated in a numerous significant committees throughout his tenure.
